Bluewater Health Sprinkler System

Scope of Work

Innovative Construction Services is currently completing a sprinkler system extension project for BWH-CEEH in Petrolia, Ontario. The project involves expanding the facility’s fire protection system to support building safety, code compliance, and long-term operational needs.

The sprinkler design is being completed based on the requirements of the Ontario Building Code and NFPA 13, the standard for the installation of sprinkler systems. These requirements guide the layout, performance requirements, and overall design approach for the extension.

A key part of the work includes sprinkler zoning, allowing the system to be organized into defined areas for monitoring, maintenance, and system control. Proper zoning helps improve the functionality of the sprinkler system and supports easier identification of specific areas during inspections or service work.

Scheduled over a five-month period, the project is being coordinated by Innovative Construction Services to meet the technical requirements of the facility while maintaining a focus on safety, compliance, and quality workmanship.
